History

In 1984 a group of Clergy, who despite their denominational and even theological differences, decided to commit themselves to matters where a righteous direction in our community was needed and formed the Collective Coalition of Concerned Clergy (CCCC). The Clergy officially changed the organization's name to The Concerned Clergy of Muncie (CCOM) in 2024.

The CCOM has provided the African American Community with a forum for discussion, support and a voice that is heard. The CCOM has also been a force against the evils that arise in social matters. Through the years the CCOM has work publicly and privately to bring positive change to the Muncie Community.
